In-House Production
Give every floating candle or coordinated collection a box that communicates its intended character clearly, feels considered in hand, and keeps the brand recognizable from first view to opening. When customers encounter floating candles in a home-fragrance, seasonal, gift or delivery setting, the box may have only a brief moment to explain what the product represents. Custom structure, material, print and finishing choices can replace a generic outer pack with a distinctive, consistent package character. The result is designed to help customers recognize the product, understand its place within the range and carry the same brand impression through display, handoff, receipt and opening. We build custom floating candle boxes around the result you want customers to experience, not around a fixed template. Whether the priority is a clean retail-ready carton, a gift-led set or a more deliberate reveal, the structure, surface and interior can be coordinated so the package feels purposeful from every relevant angle. That promise is supported by practical production choices: custom sizing based on the actual product and pack arrangement; paperboard, kraft, rigid grey board and supported corrugated routes; exterior and interior printing; matte, gloss, soft-touch, foil, embossing, debossing and raised effects; window and insert options; dieline and artwork support; digital proofing; and in-house printing and finishing. Each choice is selected to serve the intended impression and opening experience rather than to add decoration without purpose.

FORMAT OPTIONS THAT FIT
Choose a Box Structure Around the Buying Moment
The right format depends on how many floating candles belong in the pack, how they should be arranged, where the box will be seen and what the customer should notice when it opens. A compact folding carton can keep the message direct, while a window can make the product or arrangement visible before opening. Sleeve, tray, two-piece and rigid routes can create a more deliberate handoff or gift experience, and inserts can give each item a defined position. The best choice is the one that connects the approved product dimensions, pack count, brand expression and opening sequence without adding structure that serves no clear purpose.
Straight-Tuck Cartons
Choose a compact folding-carton route when the box needs clear printable panels, a tailored fit and simple product access. Custom dimensions can follow the approved candle count, arrangement and insert plan.
- Single or grouped configurations
- Paperboard, cardstock or kraft
- Outside and inside printing
- Retail, gifting or promotions
A focused structure keeps the product and brand message clear without making the pack feel overbuilt.

Window Candle Boxes
Use a die-cut window when seeing the candle color, shape or arranged set supports the buying decision. Window patching can be planned in different shapes and supported PVC thicknesses.
- Custom window shapes
- Optional clear window patch
- Printed surrounding brand panels
- Display and gift visibility
The window gives customers a useful product cue while the printed box keeps the collection visibly connected.

Sleeve and Tray Sets
A sleeve-and-tray format creates a controlled slide-open sequence and separates the outer brand statement from the product arrangement inside. It can be produced in paperboard, kraft or rigid constructions.
- Single or multi-item layouts
- Tray or insert coordination
- Branding across both components
- Gift and handoff suitability
The layered format turns opening into a clear progression from brand recognition to product discovery.

Rigid Collection Boxes
Select a rigid route when the project calls for greater physical presence and a more substantial gift or presentation format. Two-piece, drawer and magnetic-closure styles can be matched to the approved specification.
- Set and collection formats
- Foam or board inserts
- Wrapped and printed surfaces
- Considered lift-out experience
A coordinated rigid structure can make a launch, seasonal range or gift set feel more intentional in hand.
Customize NowMATERIAL-LED BOX CHARACTER
Choose the Feel Behind the Floating Candle Box
Material gives the floating candle box its first physical cue before artwork or finishing carries the message further. Smooth paperboard can support a clean, precise visual identity, while kraft can create a more natural or craft-led character. Rigid greyboard can make a coordinated set feel more substantial, and supported corrugated formats can bring the same brand language into a mailer or presentation route. The right choice starts with the impression the customer should receive, then considers the approved box style, candle count, arrangement, printing plan and opening experience. This keeps material selection connected to the business purpose instead of treating board thickness as the main decision.
Smooth Paperboard and Cardstock
Use smooth paperboard or cardstock when clean print definition, controlled brand colors and detailed artwork are central to the intended look. These materials suit folding-carton structures and can support printing on the exterior and interior, helping the same visual system continue through opening.
Natural Kraft
Choose kraft when the brand direction calls for a natural, handmade or understated physical character. White ink, full printed panels and selective finishes can create useful contrast while allowing the material itself to remain part of the visual identity.
Rigid Greyboard
Use rigid greyboard when a collection, gift set or launch format needs more physical presence in the hand. Wrapped papers, linen materials, printed surfaces, magnetic closures and insert-led structures can be coordinated around the approved specification.
Supported Corrugated Formats
Consider corrugated board for supported product-box, presentation or mailer styles that need a stronger structural character and broader branded surfaces. The route is intended for relevant product and presentation formats, not large commodity shipping-carton positioning.
RANGE, OCCASION & BRAND
Make Every Candle Collection Easy to Recognize
Printed design should make the floating candle, collection or occasion understandable at a glance. A clear visual system can distinguish individual products or editions while keeping the parent brand consistent across the range. Exterior panels can carry the main identity, product information and campaign artwork; side, back, top, bottom and inside surfaces can continue that story where useful. Full-color, CMYK, PMS or spot-color, digital, offset and white-ink routes provide production flexibility, but the goal remains simple: help customers recognize what belongs together and preserve the same brand character across retail, gifting, product photography, promotion or delivery.
- Give each candle or edition a clear visual role
- Keep the parent brand consistent across the range
- Use every relevant panel with a defined purpose
- Build seasonal artwork around the intended occasion
- Continue selected brand cues inside the box
- Stay recognizable across the channels you choose
SURFACE DETAILS WITH PURPOSE
Control What Customers Notice and Feel First
A finish should clarify the intended quality level, not compete with the artwork. For floating candle packaging, surface treatment can calm the overall box, make a name or collection cue easier to notice, or separate a seasonal and gift-led edition from the core range. Matte, gloss, soft-touch, foil, embossing, debossing, spot UV and raised effects are available, but each should earn its place. The strongest result comes from deciding what the customer should see first, what the box should feel like in hand and which details deserve added visual or tactile weight.
-
Set the Overall Character
Matte or soft-touch treatment can support a quieter, more considered surface, while gloss can reinforce brighter artwork and stronger visual contrast. Choose the treatment that fits the collection rather than applying the same finish to every range.
-
Direct Attention With Restraint
Foil, embossing, debossing, raised spot UV or other raised effects can give selected names, marks or edition cues more importance. Concentrating the effect on a few purposeful elements keeps the customer’s attention clear.
-
Give Special Editions Their Own Moment
Seasonal, launch and gift-focused boxes can use selective foil, texture or gloss contrast to feel distinct from the core line. Repeating the parent brand system keeps that difference from becoming visual disconnection.
CARRY THE EXPERIENCE INSIDE
Guide the Reveal From Opening to Candle Selection
The outside of the box creates an expectation; the inside should continue it where the chosen structure makes opening part of the customer experience. For single products, sets, seasonal collections or gift-led formats, the interior can clarify how the contents are arranged and what the customer should notice first. Printed internal surfaces can carry the established visual language forward, while foam, paperboard, kraft, corrugated or cardboard inserts can give each item a planned position. The aim is not to make every opening theatrical. It is to create a clear, relevant transition from outer brand recognition to product discovery and selection.
-
Keep the Brand Moving
Continue selected colors, artwork or short messaging on the inside so the identity does not disappear when the box opens. Interior printing is most useful when it supports a clear reveal or reinforces the collection’s intended character.
-
Make the Arrangement Easy to Read
Use a custom insert, divider or tray when several candles or components need defined positions. The layout can be planned around the approved count, dimensions and removal clearance so the set feels coordinated rather than loosely assembled.
-
Shape the First Reveal
Decide what becomes visible first and how the customer reaches each item. Sleeve-and-tray, two-piece, drawer and rigid formats can create different discovery sequences, while the selected structure keeps the experience appropriate to the project.
Plan a Floating Candle Box You Can Order Confidently
A strong result starts before artwork reaches production. The box must be planned around the actual floating candle, the intended pack count, the structure, the sales or handoff setting and the way the product should be reached after opening. The steps below help you prepare a clearer brief, compare practical routes and avoid decisions based on an assumed size or a finish chosen without context. Our team can support the dieline, artwork checks, proofing and production plan once the core product information is confirmed.
-
Start With the Actual Product and Pack Plan
Provide the length, width and height of the candle at its widest points, along with any irregular shape, wrapping, inner container or other element that changes the required space. Then confirm whether the box will hold one item, several items or a coordinated set. For multi-item packs, show the preferred arrangement and identify whether an insert, divider or tray is needed. Sizing should also account for how the customer removes the product. Rather than inventing a standard clearance, the structure should be developed from the approved measurements, pack count, insert plan and required removal space. A sample product or accurate reference can help the team prepare the dieline around the real configuration.
-
Choose the Route Around the Selling Moment
Define whether the box is primarily for shelf display, gifting, promotion, direct handoff, product photography or a branded delivery presentation. This helps narrow the structure without assuming that every channel needs the same format. A straight or reverse tuck carton can keep a compact pack direct. A die-cut window can provide a product view where that supports the decision. Sleeve-and-tray, two-piece, drawer and rigid styles can create a more deliberate opening sequence. Supported corrugated constructions can be considered for relevant product, presentation or mailer formats. Large commodity shipping-carton positioning is outside the intended route.
-
Coordinate Structure, Material and Interior
Once the format is clear, choose the material and internal arrangement as one specification. Paperboard, cardstock and kraft can support folding-carton styles. Rigid greyboard can support gift and presentation structures, including magnetic, drawer and two-piece routes. Corrugated board is available for supported mailer and product-box styles. Foam, paperboard, kraft, corrugated and cardboard inserts can be die-cut around approved product shapes and component layouts. This planning step is where the team checks whether a window, handle, hang tab, divider or insert belongs in the structure and whether the result remains practical to produce.
-
Prepare Artwork on the Approved Dieline
Dieline or template support, artwork checking, resizing, bleed and safe-zone assistance and design support are available. Production files may be supplied in AI, PDF, PSD or EPS format. The artwork can cover the front, back, top, bottom, outer panels and inside surfaces where the approved structure allows. Use the final dieline rather than an estimated panel layout. A digital proof is available for every approved order, and printing begins only after the required artwork and structure approvals. No die or plate fee applies to supported work, but a digital proof should not be treated as a physical prototype.
-
Set Quantity and Pricing Around the Launch
Paperboard, cardstock, kraft and supported corrugated orders may start from 50 boxes. Supported rigid-box orders may start from 25 boxes. Starting at these quantities does not automatically remove relevant sizing, printing, finish or insert options; the final choices remain subject to the approved structure and production specification. Per-unit pricing generally improves as quantity rises, with more visible differences often appearing around 500 units. Ask for pricing at the quantities that match the immediate launch and the likely reorder plan rather than assuming one quantity will suit every stage.
-
Confirm Proofing, Production and Delivery
Production normally takes 4–6 business days after payment, final artwork approval and structure confirmation. Production-ready jobs are generally planned to print and ship within 7 business days. Shipping transit time is separate, while complex multi-design orders may require a separately confirmed schedule. A physical prototype may be available for a qualifying bulk or wholesale project, and its cost may be adjusted into the resulting order where approved. This is different from an unrestricted free sample. The same order can also be shipped to multiple addresses, and white-label or design-firm workflows can be discussed as part of the project plan. Bring the actual product details, intended quantity, channel and artwork status to the quote conversation. With those inputs confirmed, the team can recommend a structure, prepare the dieline and build a production plan around the package outcome you want to create.
FLOATING CANDLE BOX FAQ
Answers Before You Size, Print and Order
Yes. A small brand can begin with packaging built around its own product and intended brand character without committing to a large first run. Paperboard, cardstock, kraft and supported corrugated boxes may start from 50 units, while supported rigid formats may start from 25. Relevant custom sizing, exterior or interior printing, finishes, windows and inserts remain available where they suit the approved structure and production specification. This gives you room to prepare a launch, seasonal edition or gift range without defaulting to a generic stock box.
Guidance is available, and the choice starts with the actual candle dimensions, pack count and opening goal. A compact tuck carton may suit a direct single-product route, while window, sleeve-and-tray, two-piece, drawer or rigid formats can support different display and discovery needs. Sets may also use a foam, paperboard, kraft, corrugated or cardboard insert. Share the intended arrangement and channel so the structure can be developed around the real configuration rather than an assumed standard size.
Yes. Die-cut windows can be produced in different shapes and sizes, with supported PVC window-patching options where a clear cover is required. Custom foam, paperboard, kraft, corrugated or cardboard inserts can also be die-cut around approved product shapes, quantities and component layouts. The window should provide a useful product view, while the insert should support a clear arrangement and removal sequence. Both are planned as part of the structure rather than added after sizing is complete.
Yes. Printing can extend across the front, back, top, bottom, outer panels and inside surfaces where the approved structure allows. Use the exterior to establish the main product and brand message, then continue selected colors, artwork or short copy inside when opening is part of the customer experience. Digital, offset, CMYK, PMS or spot-color, full-color and white-ink routes are available, with the final method selected around the material, artwork and order specification.
Paperboard, cardstock, kraft, rigid greyboard and supported corrugated routes give you different physical characters to work with. Smooth paperboard or cardstock can support clean print definition; kraft can keep a natural or craft-led material presence visible; rigid greyboard can give a set more substance; and corrugated board can support selected product, presentation or mailer formats. The best choice depends on the box style, candle count, print plan, opening experience and the impression you want the customer to receive.
Provide the candle’s length, width and height at its widest points, plus any irregular shape, wrapping, inner container or other element that changes the required space. Also confirm the pack count, preferred arrangement and whether you need an insert, divider, tray or extra room for removal. Exact dimensions should be developed from these inputs rather than an invented standard. Once the product and layout are clear, dieline or template support can be prepared around the approved structure.
Yes. A digital proof is available for every approved order so you can review the artwork and structure before printing begins. Artwork checking, resizing, bleed and safe-zone help, dieline support and design support are also available, and production files may be supplied in AI, PDF, PSD or EPS format. A physical prototype may be available for a qualifying bulk or wholesale project, with its cost adjusted into the resulting order where approved; it is not an unrestricted free sample.
